Jurby Church Christmas Fayre

There’s a biting wind today whistling and moaning outside Jurby Church but inside it’s lovely and warm with the delightful combined aromas of cakes and candles!  The Christmas Fayre is on and the church is decorated with 200 candles to celebrate the 200th anniversary since the accounts for building the church were returned to Bishop George Murray. There is a Carols by Candlelight service tomorrow at 6pm with all proceeds going to the church’s restoration as there is still some major works to be done.
